Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) has qualified for the NCAA Div. III Women's Cross Country Championship, hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center in Terre Haute, Indiana on Saturday, Nov. 23.
Oliver is the first Anchorwoman to qualify for the NCAA Women's Cross Country Championship since RIC Athletic Hall of Famer
Sharon (Hall) Galloway '87 went in 1984.
Oliver earned All-New England and All-Mideast Championship honors with a 20
th place finish (21:58.50) at the 2024 NCAA Div. III Mideast Women's Cross Country Championship on Nov. 16.
She was named the Little East Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year, First Team All-Little East and was the LEC's Individual Champion with a first place finish (18:09.60) for the second consecutive season at the 2024 Little East Women's Cross Country Championship, hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Nov. 2.
Oliver finished first (22:11) at the Western New England Invitational on Oct. 19. She ran the second-fastest time in school history by placing fourth (18:02.60) at the Keene State Invitational on Oct. 5. Oliver placed 25
th (18:20.45) at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 21. She finished sixth (19:49.60) at the Trinity Invitational on Sept. 7.
