Springfield, Mass.—Senior Emma Tucker (Pompton Plains, N.J.) took first on both vault and beam as Rhode Island College earned his first win of the season with a 186.200-184.775 victory at Springfield in a National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) dual meet on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen were competing for the third time in nine days and for the second time in three days.
 
• RIC has faced Springfield in three of its four competitions so far on the year.
 
• Tucker finished first on both vault (9.625) and beam (9.700) and was third on floor (9.725).
 
• Fifth-year Kelsey Gates (Orangeville, Pa.) was first on floor (9.825) and in the all-around (37.100), tied for third on bars (9.350), eighth on vault (9.325) and ninth on beam (8.600).
 
• Sophomore Abigail Bunch (Cartersville, Ga.) was second on bars (9.425).
 
• Junior Jessica Nugent (Dracut, Mass.) finished third on beam (9.500).
 
• Junior Sophia Damiano (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) tied for third on vault (9.500).
