th minutes, respectively, as the Rhode Island College women's soccer team defeated Plymouth State, 3-1, in a Little East contest on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The match started off game with neither team providing much offense. Plymouth State graduate student midfielder
McKayla Palhof (Loudon, N.H.) took two shots on goal in the first 25 minutes, but both were stopped by RIC junior goalkeeper
Chloe Angelone (Bayville, N.Y.).
• The Panthers struck first in the 43
rd minute when graduate student forward
Kaliana Palhof (Loudon, N.H.) scored her second goal of the season to lift the Panthers into the lead just before halftime.
• After 45 minutes, Plymouth State led in shots, 4-1.
• The Anchorwomen were able to respond in the 54
th minute, as Salome scored her second of the year to knot the game at one apiece. The assist went to junior midfielder
Marissa Ruzzano (Smithfield, R.I.).
• RIC burst into the lead in the 66
th minute as Salome scored her second of the game and third of the year. Sophomore midfielder
Tayshia Cary (Wakefield, R.I.) was credited with the assist.
• The scoring did not stop for the Anchorwomen, as sophomore midfielder
Olivia Williams (Riverside, R.I.) scored her second goal of the year in the 71
st minute to increase the visitor's lead to 3-1.
• PSU freshman goalkeeper
Drea Oswell (Stafford Springs, Conn.) tallied two saves in the losing effort (0-2-1).
• Angelone recorded four saves in the win (6-0-1).
