HOW IT HAPPENED
• Framingham State roared out to a 19-10 lead in the first set. With a combined six service aces, the Rams took the set by a score of 25-21.

• The Anchorwomen were able to respond in the second set. Philbrick recorded seven winners in the frame to lead RIC to a 25-22 win.

• The Rams retook their lead in the third set, as back-to-back service aces by freshman middle hitter
Natalie Reynolds (Beverly, Mass.) powered Framingham State to a 25-21 win.

• The fourth set was complete domination by the Anchorwomen, who jumped out to a commanding, 20-3, lead and held the Rams to singles digits in a 25-8 victory.

• However, the Rams were able to piece together a team effort in the fifth set, taking the stanza, 15-8, to secure the match victory.

• Philbrick recorded a career-high of 17 kills.
Marines recorded a career-high of 20 kills. Colonis set her career-high with 11 kills.

• Five of the Anchorwomen's six matches this fall have gone the full five sets.
