Jenna Soden (Leicester, Mass.) each scored their first collegiate goals as the Rhode Island College women's soccer team defeated Mount Holyoke, 4-0, for the club's third straight shutout on Monday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The match started evenly, with both teams trading shots up until the 42nd minute when junior midfielder
Tayla Salome (Lincoln, R.I.) scored her first goal of the season. Junior midfielder
Marissa Ruzzano (Smithfield, R.I.) had the assist on the play.

• Just two minutes later, Ruzzano would score her third goal of the season to double the Anchorwomen lead going into halftime.

• Johnson-Hoffman scored her first collegiate goal to boost the lead to 3-0 in the 52
nd minute.

• Soden would capitalize on a pass from sophomore midfielder
Tayshia Cary (Wakefield, R.I.) for her first career marker
 to cap the game's offensive output in the 65th minute.

• Junior goalkeeper
Chloe Angelone (Bayville, N.Y.) would record her fourth shutout of the season with two saves in a winning effort (4-0-1).

Evie Krieg (Frisco, Texas) made two saves in the loss (1-1-1).

• RIC has not allowed a goal in over 270 minutes and has five shutouts in six contests.
