Cameron Santerre (Bristol, R.I.) went 3-for-4 with four runs scored and three RBI as Rhode Island College downed UMass Dartmouth, 12-2 (7 innings), in Little East action played at Pontarelli Field on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen put four runs across in the bottom of the first, led by a two-run double from junior third baseman
Cal Parrillo (Greenville, R.I.).
• UMD put one across in the second before the Anchormen rattled off the contest's next eight runs. Santerre blasted a two-run homer in the fifth and tripled in another run in the sixth.
• The Corsairs scored one in the top of the seventh, but the hosts were able to end the game early due to the 10-run rule.
• Senior pitcher
Connor Davey (Cheshire, Conn.) allowed just one run on three hits in six innings of work to secure his fourth (4-2) win on the season.
• Senior left fielder
Joey Coro (North Providence, R.I.) went 2-for-4 with a solo homer.
• UMD sophomore starter
Nathan Potter (Greenville, R.I.) took the loss (1-1).
