Hannah Marley (Tiverton, R.I.) netted her first goal of the season as the Rhode Island College women's lacrosse team lost at the University of Saint Joseph, 17-1, on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Blue Jays were able to take a 3-0 lead after the first quarter, then tacked on five more to enter the half up by eight, 8-0. Senior attacker
Makenzie Dinger (Hingham, Mass.) scored the first goal of the game, then earned the hat-trick late in the second quarter.

• Marley was able to slice the defense 30 seconds into the second half to score her first goal of the season.
