Newport, R.I.--Junior goalkeeper Olivia Brennan (Portsmouth, R.I.) made 15 saves as the Rhode Island College women's lacrosse team lost at Salve Regina, 21-0, in a rain-soaked contest played at Gaudet Field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Seahawks took total control of the game early, gaining a 10-0 lead over the Anchorwomen by the first quarter final buzzer.
 
• Salve senior midfielder Kelly Ventura (Floral Park, N.Y.) was everywhere this afternoon, totaling five goals, two assists, nine ground balls, six caused turnovers and six draw controls.
 
• Sophomore defender Cameron Baston (Plantsville, Conn.) added three goals, four assists and 11 ground balls.
 
• Brennan suffered the loss (0-3).
 
• SRU sophomore goalkeeper Grace Haesche (Warwick, N.Y.) earned the win (1-3) with five saves.
