New Haven, Conn.--Senior Kelsey Gates (Orangeville, Pa.) finished first on floor and second on beam as the Rhode Island College women's gymnastics team finished third (three teams) at a tri-meet hosted by Southern Connecticut State on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
VAULT: SCSU junior Hannah Zebdi (Ashburn, Va.) and sophomore Lexi Bracher (Oakton, Va.) tied for first on vault with a 9.700. Junior Emma Tucker (Pompton Plains, N.J.) was the top Anchorwomen scorer on the event with a 9.325 and a 10^th place finish.

BARS: SCSU sophomore Ciana Rios (Vineland, N.J.) took home the top spot on bars with a score of 9.800. Junior Olivia Keyes (Bridgewater, Mass.) recorded a 9.150 and placed eighth for the Anchorwomen.

BEAM: Keyes scored the top mark with a 9.700, while Gates scored second with a 9.650.
