HOW IT HAPPENED
• Curry scored goals in the 29th and 32nd minutes, both off of the foot of graduate forward Samantha Borges (Somerset, Mass.).

• A few minutes later in the 35th minute, CC junior midfielder Sydney Resendes (Coventry, R.I.) found the back of the net, which helped the Colonels build a 3-0 halftime advantage.

• In the 62nd minute, a bounding ball from Williams skipped over the head of CC freshman goalkeeper Lexi Smardon (Scotland, Conn.) and into the back of the net for her first collegiate goal.

• Curry would quickly regain its three-goal lead four minutes later, with Resendes notching her second goal of the day in the 66th minute.

• Borges and Resendes each tallied two goals apiece and four different Colonels picked up an assist.

• The hosts played all three of their goalies. Senior Maya Benedict (Tempe, Ariz.) played the first half, made four saves and took the loss (0-1). Freshman Kelly Graziano (Johnston, R.I.) played the majority of the second half and turned away three Colonel offerings. Sophomore Chloe Angelone (Bayville, N.Y.) played the final five minutes.

• Curry used multiple goalkeepers as well, with sophomore Hannah Correa (Carver, Mass.) getting the win (1-0) with one save in the first half. Smardon allowed one goal and shut the door on the three other shot attempts she faced.
