Sherri Heard's team wrapped up the 2021 season with a 10-14 overall record and a 2-6 (fifth place) mark in the Little East.
Senior right side hitter
Eden Anthony (Cranston, R.I.) wrapped up her career playing in 248 sets in 85 matches. She hit .121 (252-135-965) with 252 kills (1.02/set), 16 assists (0.06/set), 103 digs (0.42/set) and 66 blocks (0.27/set).
As a senior in 2021, she played in 77 sets in 24 matches. She hit .113 (77-38-344) with 77 kills (1.00/set), three assists (0.04/set), 36 digs (0.47/set) and 24 blocks (0.31/set). Anthony racked up a season-high seven kills on three separate outings. She registered a season-high seven kills and four digs in a 3-1 win against Emmanuel on Sept. 21.
In 2020-21, Anthony played 19 sets in five matches. She hit .109 (28-18-92) with 28 kills (1.47/ set), 14 digs (0.74/set) and five blocks (0.26/set). Anthony recorded eight kills and a pair of digs in a 3-0 loss to Eastern Connecticut on April 1. She registered seven kills and two digs in a 3-2 win over Castleton on April 25.
As a junior in 2019, Anthony played in 59 sets in 19 matches. She hit .161 (61-26-217) with 61 kills (1.03/set), 32 digs (0.54/set) and 13 blocks (0.22/set). She knocked down seven kills in a 3-2 loss against Plymouth State on Oct. 12. Anthony delivered seven kills in a 3-2 win over Bridgewater State on Oct. 12. She registered five digs in a match on two occasions.
As a sophomore in 2018, Anthony played in 71 sets in 23 matches. Anthony hit .131 (74-39-267) with 74 kills (1.04/set), 14 digs (0.20/set) and 20 blocks (0.28/set). She totaled nine kills in a 3-2 win vs. Keene State on Oct. 27. She posted three blocks in a 3-2 win vs. Western Connecticut on Oct. 30. Anthony picked up three digs in a 3-1 win over Smith on Sept. 13.
As a freshman in 2017, Anthony played in 22 sets in 14 matches. She registered 12 kills (.55/set), seven digs (.32/set) and four blocks (.18/set).
She is a graphic design major, a ceramics minor and a 2016 graduate of Cranston High School West.
Junior libero
Wynter Conlon (East Walpole, Mass.) played in 74 sets in 22 matches. She hit -.038 (9-12-80) with nine kills (0.12/set), 45 assists (0.61/set), 17 service aces (0.23/set) and 301 digs (4.07/set). Conlon compiled double-digit digs in 16 of her 22 matches, including breaking the 20-dig barrier four times. She registered a season-high 24 digs with three assists and a service ace in a 3-1 setback vs UMass Dartmouth on Sept. 29.
Junior outside hitter
Amelia Murphy (North Attleboro, Mass.) was named the team's MVP. Murphy played in 80 sets in 24 matches. She hit .185 (268-127-762) with 268 kills (3.35/set), 11 assists (0.14/set), 23 service aces (0.29/set), 266 digs (3.33/set) and 29 blocks (0.36/set). Murphy had 15 matches with 10-plus kills, which included a seven-match streak of double-digit efforts. She registered a season-high 23 kills in a 3-2 win vs Lasell on Oct. 21. Murphy reached double-digit in digs on 16 occasions, which included three matches of 18-plus digs.
Sophomore outside hitter
Hannah Davis (Wells, Maine) played in 13 sets in seven matches. She hit -.034 (6-7-29) with six kills (0.46/set), one assist (0.08/set) and eight digs (0.62/set). Davis compiled a season-high five kills and seven digs in a 3-1 victory over Mass. Maritime on Oct. 23.
Sophomore outside hitter
Cassandra Fairman (Springfield, Mass.) played in 29 sets in 13 matches. She hit -.042 (13-17-95) with 13 kills (0.45/set), eight digs (0.28/set) and four blocks (0.14/set). Fairman totaled a season-high three kills and two digs in a 3-0 loss vs. the Univ. of New England on Oct. 9.
Sophomore right side hitter
Julia Kershaw (North Kingstown, R.I.) played in 14 sets in nine matches. She hit .043 (14-12-47) with 14 kills (1.00/set) and five digs (0.36/set). Kershaw notched season-highs in both kills (six) and digs (two) in a 3-1 victory over Mass. Maritime on Oct. 23.
Sophomore middle hitter
Angelly Polanco (Providence, R.I.) played in 72 sets in 22 matches. She hit .130 (77-42-270) with 77 kills (1.07/set), five assists (0.07/set), 25 digs (0.35/set) and 41 blocks (0.57/set). Polanco compiled seven kills and four blocks in a 3-1 win over Emmanuel on Sept. 21. She posted six kills in a match on three occasions.
Sophomore outside hitter
Janelly Polanco (Providence, R.I.) played in 33 sets in 12 matches. She hit -.078 (15-22-90) with 15 kills (0.45/set), four assists (0.12/set), one service ace (0.03/set), 16 digs (0.48/set) and one block (0.03/set). Polanco tallied a season-high five kills in a 3-0 loss vs. the Univ. of New England on Oct. 16.
Sophomore setter
Aubrey St. Onge (Tilton, N.H.) played in 81 sets over 24 matches. She hit .000 (4-4-38) with four kills (0.05/set), 329 assists (4.06/set), 20 service aces (0.25/set) and 174 digs (2.15/set). St. Onge handed out double-digit assists in 17 of 24 matches. She notched 25 assists and 12 digs in a 3-1 win vs. Mass. Maritime on Oct. 23. She totaled 24 assists and 13 digs in a 3-2 win over Lasell on Oct. 23.
Freshman outside hitter/right side hitter
Grace Albritton (West Greenwich, R.I.) played in 46 sets in 19 matches. She hit .148 (50-27-155) with 50 kills (1.09/set), one assist (0.02/set), two service aces (0.04/set), 17 digs (0.38/set) and eight blocks (0.17/set). Albritton registered a season-high seven kills in the squad's, 3-2, win versus Lasell on Oct. 21. She notched season-highs in service aces (two) and digs (three), to go along with four kills, in a 3-0 win vs, Worcester State on Sept. 11.
Freshman defensive specialist
Charlotte Davenport (Clinton, Conn.) played in 72 sets in 23 matches. She hit .000 (2-2-14) with two kills (0.03/set), two assists (0.03/set), 11 service aces (0.15/set) and 37 digs (0.51/set). She racked up a season-high eight digs in a 3-0 victory over Sarah Lawrence on Sept. 18. Davenport had a kill and two service aces in the team's, 3-1, win over UMass Boston on Oct. 7.
Freshman outside hitter
Paige Francis (Riverside, R.I.) played in five sets in five matches. She hit .000 (0-0-2) with one service ace (0.20/set) and five digs (1.00/set). Francis notched a service ace and five digs in a 3-1 win vs. Mass. Maritime on Oct. 23.
Freshman setter
Sydney Green (West Warwick, R.I.) played in 80 sets in 24 matches. She hit .068 (7-4-44) with seven kills (0.09/set), 231 assists (2.89/set), 38 service aces (0.48/set) and 104 digs (1.30/set). Green reached double-digits in assists on 11 occasions this fall. She dished out a career-high 20 assists, to go along with three service aces and four digs, in a 3-1 loss vs. Framingham State on Oct. 26. Green totaled seven service aces with five assists, to go along with six digs, in a 3-0 setback vs Plymouth State on Oct. 2.
Freshman outside hitter
Rhiannon Hodovanec (Feeding Hills, Mass.) played in 80 sets in 24 matches. She hit .100 (136-93-428) with 136 kills (1.70/set), 12 assists (0.15/set), 42 service aces (0.53/set), 121 digs (1.51/set) and 15 blocks (0.19/set). Hodovanec had four matches with 10-plus kills and digs on the year. She tallied a season-high 13 kills in a 3-1 defeat against UMass Dartmouth on Sept. 29. Hodovanec notched eight service aces with 12 kills and 11 digs in the squad's, 3-2, win versus Lasell on Oct. 21.
Freshman defensive specialist/libero
Nicole Normandin (Blackstone, Mass.) played in 70 sets in 22 matches. She hit -.217 (1-6-23) with one kill (0.01/set), 10 assists (0.14/set), 11 service aces (0.16/set) and 92 digs (1.31/set). Normandin had three matches with multiple service aces and double-digit digs on the year. She tallied three service aces and seven digs in a 3-1 loss vs. the Univ. of New England on Oct. 16. Normandin totaled a season-high 11 digs and two assists in a 3-0 loss vs. Southern Maine on Oct. 16.
Freshman middle hitter
Megan Philbrick (Johnston, R.I.) played in 68 sets in 22 matches. She hit .150 (55-29-173) with 55 kills (0.81/set), five assists (0.07/set), 11 digs (0.16/set) and 30 blocks (0.44/set). Philbrick registered a season-high six kills twice on the season. She blocked a season-high four attacks on two occasions. Philbrick had six kills and two blocks in a 3-0 victory over Salem State on Sept. 7.
