Cameron Santerre (Bristol, R.I.) stole three bases to establish a new program record (31) for single-season swipes as Rhode Island College defeated Western Connecticut, 11-1, in Little East baseball action on Tuesday afternoon.

• RIC scored four runs in the first inning, with sophomore right fielder
Sean Helfrich (Saunderstown, R.I.) driving in two runs with a double to the left center gap.

Zack Edwards (Seymour, Conn.) knocked in the Wolves' only run with a double of his own in the bottom of the second, making the contest 4-1 in RIC's favor at that point.
