Andrew Sears (West Warwick, R.I.) was named the Little East Pitcher of the Year, while freshman first baseman
Daniel Trzepacz (Mont Vernon, N.H.) was named the Rookie of the Year, as 11 Anchormen earned All-Little East honors for their respective performance during the 2022 season.
Sears was named the Little East Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-Little East as a pitcher. He appeared in 12 games, starting all of them. Sears was 8-1 with two shutouts, a 2.29 ERA and 96 strikeouts in 74.2 innings of work.
Trzepacz was named the Little East Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Little East at first base. He played in 40 games, starting all of them. Trzepacz batted .406 (67-for-165) with 55 runs scored, 67 hits, 14 doubles, seven homers and 50 RBI. He owned a .618 slugging percentage, a .520 on-base percentage and a .992 fielding percentage.
Sophomore second baseman
Cal Parrillo (Greenville, R.I.) was named First Team All-Little East. He played in 40 games, starting all of them. Parrillo batted .430 (71-for-165) with 51 runs scored, 71 hits, 14 doubles, two triples, seven homers, 52 RBI and seven stolen bases. He owned a .667 slugging percentage, a .505 on-base percentage and a .977 fielding percentage. Parrillo's 71 hits tied the program record for the most hits in a season.
Senior left fielder
Joey Coro (North Providence, R.I.) was named First Team All-Little East. He played in 40 games, starting all of them. Coro batted .382 (58-for-152) with 48 runs scored, 58 hits, 11 doubles, one triple, eight homers, 49 RBI and 19 stolen bases. He owned a .625 slugging percentage, a .476 on-base percentage and a .894 fielding percentage.
Sophomore center fielder
Cameron Santerre (Bristol, R.I.) was named First Team All-Little East. He played in 40 games, starting all of them. Santerre batted .392 (60-for-153) with 69 runs scored, 60 hits, 13 doubles, two triples, seven homers, 31 RBI and 34 stolen bases. He owned a .641 slugging percentage, a .519 on-base percentage and a .982 fielding percentage. Santerre established new program records for runs scored and stolen bases in a single season.
Junior reliever
Shaun Gamelin (West Kingston, R.I.) was named First Team All-Little East. He appeared in 18 games. Gamelin was 1-0 with three saves, a 3.14 ERA and 66 strikeouts in 28.2 innings of work.
Freshman catcher
Lucas Pierce (Chepachet, R.I.) was named Third Team All-Little East. He played in 39 games, starting 37 of them. Pierce batted .291 (39-for-134) with 29 runs scored, 39 hits, seven doubles, five homers and 45 RBI. He owned a .455 slugging percentage, a .390 on-base percentage and a .991 fielding percentage.
Sophomore shortstop
Izaiah Rivera (Pawtucket, R.I.) was named Third Team All-Little East. He played in 38 games, starting all of them. Rivera batted .286 (38-for-133) with 33 runs scored, 38 hits, seven doubles, one triple, three homers, 32 RBI and five stolen bases. He owned a .421 slugging percentage, a .359 on-base percentage and .928 fielding percentage.
Sophomore right fielder
Sean Helfrich (Saunderstown, R.I.) was named Third Team All-Little East. He played in 36 games, starting 31 one of them. Helfrich batted .321 (36-for-112) with 32 runs scored, 36 hits, seven doubles, six homers, 33 RBI and five stolen bases. He owned a .545 slugging percentage, a .454 on-base percentage and a .971 fielding percentage.
Junior pitcher
Connor Davey (Cheshire, Conn.) was named Third Team All-Little East. He appeared in 12 games, starting 11 of them. Davey was 6-3 with a 5.93 ERA and 49 strikeouts in 57.2 innings of work.
Sophomore pitcher
Terry Murray (Norfolk, Mass.) was named Third Team All-Little East. He appeared in 12 games, starting eight of them. Murray was 5-2 with a 3.95 ERA and 51 strikeouts in 54.2 innings of work.
Head Coach
Frank Holbrook's team finished the 2022 season with a 29-10-1 overall record and a 13-3 (second place) mark in the Little East. The Anchormen's 29 wins are a new program record for a single season.
