HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC held the lead after the first quarter with a 4-2 advantage. Senior midfielder
Natalie Kulacz (Cumberland, R.I.) netted two goals in the opening 15 minutes.

• The two squads matched goal totals in each of the next two quarters, which allowed RIC to have its first lead of the season going into the fourth quarter, 9-7.

• The visitors used goals in the fourth quarter from Kross and junior attacker
Shannon O'Connell (Narragansett, R.I.) to seal the win.

• Kulacz had two goals, three assists, six ground balls and caused three turnovers.
