Daniel Trzepacz (Mont Vernon, N.H.) belted a walk-off, two-run homer in game one as Rhode Island College swept a doubleheader (6-4, 10-4) vs. Husson at Pontarelli Field on Saturday afternoon.

GAME ONE
• The Eagles took a 4-1 lead after six on a pair of sophomore first baseman
Jackson Curtis (Ellsworth, Maine) two-run homers to left field.

• The Anchormen battled back to tie the game, 4-4, in the seventh on a sophomore right fielder
Sean Helfrich (Saunderstown, R.I.) RBI sacrifice fly.

Cameron Santerre (Bristol, R.I.) walked with one down in the home half of the ninth and Trzepacz followed with the game-winning longball.

Andrew Sears (West Warwick, R.I.) struck out 14 in six innings of work. Freshman reliever
Cameron Foster (Attleboro, Mass.) struck out the side in the ninth and picked up his first win (1-0).

GAME TWO
• Santerre started the game off with a bang, hitting a home run in his first plate appearance, which gave the Anchormen an early, 1-0, advantage.

• RIC would score three runs in the fourth, with sophomore shortstop
Izaiah Rivera (Pawtucket, R.I.) knocking in a pair with a two-run double.

• The hosts would repeat their scoring output in the bottom of the fifth inning when Helfrich cleared the bases with a double to put RIC on top by seven, 7-0.

• Husson would plate two runs in the seventh thanks to the first career home run by freshman pinch hitter

Connor Davey (Cheshire, Conn.) earned the win (4-2), going seven strong innings and punching out nine.
