Daniel Trzepacz (Mont Vernon, N.H.) went 4-for-6 and knocked in three runs as Rhode Island College pounded UMass Dartmouth, 17-5, in Little East action on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first off of senior third baseman
Jarrad Grossguth's (Coventry, R.I.) two-run homer.
• The hosts scored four in the third and once in the fourth to build a 5-2 advantage.
• The Anchormen put three across in the fifth, then tacked on 12 more over the final four frames to seal the win. Senior left fielder
Joey Coro (North Providence, R.I.) smacked his team-leading seventh homer of the season with a two-run shot in the sixth.
• Sophomore starter
Terry Murray (Norfolk, Mass.) earned the win (3-1). He struck out six in eight innings of work.
• UMD senior reliever
Mike Sollitto (North Providence, R.I.) took the loss (2-2).
BY THE NUMBERS
• It was the 15
th time the Anchormen have scored 10 or more runs in a game on the season.
