• The Nittany Lions built a 4-0 lead through the first four innings before the Anchormen roared back with an eight-run bottom of the fourth to take an 8-4 advantage. Sophomore shortstop

Joey Coro (North Providence, R.I.) went 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored, two RBI and a homer (1).

Chase Swain (Salem, N.J.) went 4-for-4 with four runs scored. Morales went 4-for-6 with five RBI.

Ryan Hansbury (Turnersville, N.J.) earned the win (1-0), hurling 2.2 of scoreless relief.

Aidan Ricciardelli (Branford, Conn.) took the loss (0-1).
