HOW IT HAPPENED
UMass Dartmouth led the entire first half, which included a 12-point, 42-30, lead after 20 minutes.
Â
While Darby had a big first half with 17 points, Jacobs took over the second half, dropping 20 for the Anchormen. Jacobs netted eight points during RIC's, 13-3, run to begin the final half, which brought the Anchormen within two points, 45-43, at the 17:21 mark.

Â
Jacobs now sits just 16 points away from scoring 1,000 points exclusively at RIC. He recently passed 1,000 career collegiate points including his time at Morehouse College.
