Men's Basketball Falls at Brandeis, 90-62

Waltham, Mass.--Senior guard Shion Darby (Peekskill, N.Y.) scored a team-high 21-points as the Rhode Island College men's basketball team fell at Brandeis, 90-62, on Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC tied the game at 13 with 13 minutes left in the first half after a big three-point shot by junior guard Noah Waters (Bristol, Conn.).
 
• Brandeis would go on a big run and take a 10-point lead, 28-18, with eight minutes remaining in the opening frame after a three-pointer by freshman Toby Harris (Durham, N.C.).
 
• The Judges took a commanding 16-point, 42-26, lead into halftime.
 
• Brandeis dominated the second half, holding at least a 14-point lead throughout the whole frame and had saw its lead balloon to 30 points for the entirety of the final seven minutes.
 
• Junior forward Mitchel Norseca (East Providence, R.I.) made his season debut and had 10 points and nine rebounds.
 
• Harris registered 24 points for the Judges and connected on 9-of-11 shots, which included a 4-for-6 performance from three-point range. Brandeis had eight student-athletes that had at least five points.
 
WHAT'S NEXT
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host Fitchburg State on Tuesday, Nov. 15 (7 p.m.).
