HOW IT HAPPENED
• Before the game, RIC recognized its five seniors:
Nick Ouwerkerk (Bay Shore, N.Y.), Steven Schmidt (Saunderstown, R.I.),
Roman Davis (Watertown, Mass.), Oliveira and Ramos, along with their families, on Senior Day.

• Oliveira scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 14
th minute. He received a long clear out from Schmidt and beat three Owls down the sideline to tuck it past Keene senior goalkeeper
Andrew Pasciuto (Abington, Mass.) for his fourth goal of the year.

• RIC got an important insurance goal in the 71
st minute when sophomore midfielder
Christion Restrepo (Central Falls, R.I.) was taken down in the box, which resulted in a penalty kick. Ramos buried the attempt into the bottom left corner for his second marker of the season.

• Junior goalkeeper
Jake Reed (Cumberland, R.I.) notched his first career collegiate win (1-5-2) and earned his second shutout with a three-save performance.

• Pasciuto only made one stop in the loss (3-8-1).

In upcoming action, No. 5-seeded Rhode Island College will travel to No. 4-seeded Castleton for a 2022 Little East Men's Soccer Championship first round game on Tuesday, Nov. 1 (4 p.m.).
