Gorham, Maine--Junior goalkeeper Jake Reed (Cumberland, R.I.) made two saves as Rhode Island College and Southern Maine battled to a scoreless draw in Little East Men's Soccer action played at Hannaford Field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen outshot the Huskies over 2-to-1, holding a 16-7 advantage on the day.
 
• However, neither team was able to put the ball on net with any frequency as the visitors had four shots on goal and the hosts mustered merely a pair.
 
• The Anchormen outshot USM, 8-1, in the first half and 8-6 over the final 45 minutes.
 
• Reed made two saves in the tie (0-4-2). It was his first shutout of the season. Southern Maine senior goalkeeper Hayes Estrela (Kennebunk, Maine) made four stops in the draw (3-4-6). It was his seventh shutout of the year.
