Antonia Corsinetti (Johnston, R.I.) led the way with 17 points as the Rhode Island College women's basketball team raised their current win streak to 11 games in a 61-53 victory over Keene State at Spaulding Gymnasium on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC went up, 13-6, after the first quarter thanks to four points by sophomore guard
Ashanti Frazier (Newington, Conn.). Keene State would score 17 points in the second quarter, but still trailed the Anchorwomen by two possessions, 27-23, going into the half.

• Keene would cut the RIC lead down to just three points, 30-27, with 8:34 left in the third quarter thanks to two free throws by freshman forward
Samantha Lee (Clifton Park, N.Y.). That was the closest Keene would get as RIC pulled away to win the contest.

• Corsinetti also had six rebounds and three assists to go along with her game-high 17 points.

• Senior guard
Abby Phelan (Norton, Mass.) contributed 11 points and was 3-for-5 from three-point range.

• Frazier had 10 points and dished out a team-high four assists.

• Lee had 12 points, seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals for the hosts.

• RIC shot 39 percent (22-for-57) from the field, 46 percent (12-for-26) from downtown and 71 percent (5-for-7) from the free throw line.
