Providence, R.I.--Sophomore guard
Jordan Riley's (Windsor, Conn.) career night was not enough as the Rhode Island College men's basketball team fell vs. UMass Dartmouth, 80-73, in overtime in Little East action played at the Murray Center on Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The first half came and went in a blink-of-an-eye with RIC up by four, 28-24. The Corsairs would then score 15 points to RIC's four over the first three minutes of the second half to give the visitors a 39-32 lead.
• The two squads would trade buckets until the very last minute when RIC senior guard
Shion Darby (Peekskill, N.Y.) hit a three to tie the game at 69 apiece. Darby missed the potential game-winner at the end of regulation and the game headed into overtime.
• In the final period, UMD outpaced the Anchormen, 11-4, to take the victory.
• Riley finished with a career-high 23 points and 17 rebounds. He added four steals as well.

Keyshaun Jacobs (Lynn, Mass.) had 19 points and three assists on the night.
• UMD senior guard
Marcus Azor (Brockton, Mass.) filled the stat sheet with 14 points, 13 boards, eight dimes and four steals. He finished two assists shy of a triple-double, which would have been his third straight game achieving that statistical benchmark.
• UMass senior guard
Adam Seablom (Lakeville, Mass.) poured in a game and season-high of 28 points in the winning effort.
BY THE NUMBERS
• RIC shot 35 percent (28-for-80) from the field, 27 percent (6-for-22) from downtown and 58 percent (11-for-19) from the free throw line.
• The Corsairs shot 40 percent (32-for-81) from the field, 24 percent (7-for-29) from long range and 43 percent (9-for-21) from the charity stripe.
