Jonathan Oliveira (Providence, R.I.) registered a goal and an assist for three points as Rhode Island College defeated Western Connecticut, 3-0, in Little East men's soccer action played at Alumni Field on Saturday afternoon.

Roman Davis (Watertown, Mass.) set up Oliveira for his team-leading third goal of the year in the 21
st minute with a long breakaway pass.
• RIC took a 2-0 lead, while holding a 12-7 advantage in shots, into halftime.
• The visitors carried play for the majority of the final 45 minutes, outshooting the hosts, 14-3.
