Alexia Peloquin (Cranston, R.I.) played in their final regular season home game as the Rhode Island College women's lacrosse team fell, 24-6, to Eastern Connecticut in Little East women's lacrosse action played at Alumni Field on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Eastern Connecticut jumped on the board in the first minute with a sophomore midfielder
Caroline Stent (Weatogue, Conn.) goal that set the tone for the Warriors offense.
• RIC was quick to answer with a sophomore attacker
Emily Marino (Cheshire, Conn.) goal that was set up by sophomore attacker
Ashley Rewers (Oakdale, Conn.) to knot the score at one apiece.
• Eastern rattled off a pair of goals, both scored by sophomore attack
Shay Ventresca (Oakdale, Conn.), to take a 3-1 advantage in the third minute.
• RIC was able to come right back down the field and cut the visitor's lead down to one, 3-2, with a junior attacker
Olivia Carpenito (Wilmington, Mass.) goal on a free position attempt.
• ECSU responded with a 9-0 run that pushed its lead to 10, 12-2.
• ECSU lead at the halftime break by 14, 18-4.
• Carpenito netted her third goal of the game early in the second half to make the score, 19-5, Warriors.
• RIC freshman attacker
Maddie Kross (Peachtree City, Ga.) scored her second goal of the day to stop a 3-0 run by the Warriors with 17 minutes remaining in the game.

Shannon O'Connell (Narragansett, R.I.) recorded seven saves and four ground balls in the loss (1-5).
• ECSU sophomore goalkeeper
Sarah Gallagher (South Windsor, Conn.) registered one save in the win (7-3).
BY THE NUMBERS
• ECSU was led by Stent, who registered five goals and two assists for seven points.
