Providence, R.I.—Junior guard Antonia Corsinetti (Johnston, R.I.) splashed a career-high 21 points as the Rhode Island College women's basketball team routed Bridgewater State, 65-46, at The Murray Center on Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The hosts jumped out to a 5-0 lead at 8:54 of the first quarter when Corsinetti hit the first of her four three-pointers on the night. Another Corsinetti three-ball sent RIC out to an early seven-point lead, 10-3, with just under eight minutes left in the opening frame.
• Senior center Willcia McBorrough (Providence, R.I.) checked in and made a layup with 4:14 left in the first to push the lead out to 13, 16-3. RIC would ride that lead out until the end of the first quarter, holding a 20-7 advantage.
• With BSU having only seven points in the quarter, it marked a streak of five quarters in a row in which RIC held their opponent to under 10 points.
• The first half ended with RIC leading by 11, 32-21.
• BSU freshman guard Kylie Grassi (Plymouth, Mass.) made a layup with 5:53 remaining in the contest to cut the RIC lead down to 14, 55-41, but that was as close as the Bears would get for the remainder of the contest.
• Corsinetti finished with 21 points, two rebounds, two assists and a team-high three steals. She went 4-for-6 from downtown in the win.
• Freshman forward Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) contributed eight points, six rebounds, and one block.
• Sophomore guard Ashanti Frazier (Newington, Conn.) had seven rebounds and a team-high three assists.
• BSU junior guard Sydney Bradbury (East Bridgewater, Mass.) registered a team-high 16 points for the Bears and also pulled down a game-high eight boards.
BY THE NUMBERS
• RIC shot 32 percent (20-for-62) from the floor, 39 percent (7-for-18) from behind the three-point arc and hit 53 percent (18-for-34) of their free throw attempts.
• Bridgewater State connected on just 26 percent (14-for-54) of its shots from the field, 20 percent (4-for-20) from downtown and 52 percent (14-for-27) from the free throw line.
• RIC won the rebound battle, 52-45, and led for all but 10 seconds of the game.
