Keyshaun Jacobs (Lynn, Mass.) dropped a season-high 32 points as the Rhode Island College men's basketball team defeated Regis, 90-74, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen held the lead for the entire game, jumping out to a 14-point, 36-22, lead thanks to a three-pointer by Jacobs with 5:30 left in the first half.
• The Pride clawed back to within four points, 38-34, at the end of the first half when freshman forward
Russell Rau (Fitchburg, Mass.) hit a pair of free throws.
• A layup from Regis senior guard
Jalil Wilkerson (New Haven, Conn.) at 19:45 of the second half trimmed the RIC lead down to just two points, 38-36. The Anchormen then proceeded to go on a 16-2 run, led by sophomore forward
Ousmane Kourouma (Woonsocket, R.I.) who scored eight of his 19 points during that stretch.
• RIC held a double-digit advantage from then on out, outscoring Regis, 52-40, in the second half, to secure their fourth straight win of the season.
• Jacobs shot a very efficient 10-for-16 from the field, while converting six of his eight three-point attempts. He also knocked down all six of his free throws.
• Kourouma ended with 19 points, including 16 in the second half, to go along with 15 rebounds and two steals.
• Junior guard
Shion Darby (Peekskill, N.Y.) contributed 19 points and dished out four assists.
• Sophomore guard
Jordan Riley (Windsor, Conn.) recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards.
• Regis junior guard
Justin Evelyn (Uniondale, N.Y.) registered 20 points, three rebounds and three assists. Rau chipped in with 18.
BY THE NUMBERS
• RIC shot 53 percent (34-for-64) from the field, 40 percent from three-point range (6-for-15) and 76 percent (16-for-21) from the free throw line.
• Regis shot 44 percent (27-for-61) from the field, 37 percent from three-point range (7-for-19) and 62 percent (13-for-21) from the free throw line.
• The Anchormen held a 48-25 advantage in rebounding.
