Providence, R.I.—The dynamic duo of senior guard
Keyshaun Jacobs (Lynn, Mass.) and junior guard
Shion Darby (Peekskill, N.Y.) combined for 46 points as the Rhode Island College men's basketball team downed Bridgewater State Bars, 93-74, at The Murray Center on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Bridgewater State freshman big man
Camden Dunbury (Pocasset, Mass.) converted a layup at the 13:14 mark of the first half to give the Bears an early one-point lead, 12-11.
• RIC responded with a 19-0 run, highlighted by three Jacobs' treys and capped by sophomore forward
Xavier Landers (Westwood, N.J.) layup, to build a 32-11 advantage.
• With six seconds left in the first half, BSU freshman guard
Quinton Champagne (Wrentham, Mass.) bolted down the court and banked in a layup as the buzzer sounded. RIC held an eight-point, 43-35, lead at the half.
• The Bears clawed back when senior guard
David Laine (Bourne, Mass.) canned a three-pointer to pull the visitors within seven, 56-49. That sparked another RIC run, with Darby scoring or assisting on 12 of the 15 points, in a 15-2 outburst. The Bears trailed by double digits for the remainder of the contest.
• Jacobs finished with 24 points, went 8-for-13 from three-point range and dished out four assists.
• Darby dropped 22 points and dished out nine dimes, which was a new season-high. He is just 75 points away from reaching the 1,000 career point milestone.
• Sophomore guard
Jordan Riley (Windsor, Conn.) filled up the stat sheet with 16 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals. He notched a ferocious dunk and a vicious chase-down block in the win.
• Dunbury was a monster for the Bears, scoring a career and game-high 30 points and pulling down 12 boards.
BY THE NUMBERS
• RIC shot 43 percent (35-for-81) from the field, 44 percent (17-for-39) from downtown and 43 percent (6-for-14) from the charity stripe.
• BSU converted 46 percent (31-for-68) from the field, 31 percent (4-for-13) from three-point range and 73 percent (8-for-11) from the free throw line.
• The Anchormen led for 35:04 of the game and scored 34 points off of 21 Bear turnovers.
