Charlie Tashjian (West Warwick, R.I.) matched his own career-high with 11 saves as Rhode Island College saw its six-game win streak come to an end in a 2-0 setback at Roger Williams on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RWU junior midfielder
Javi Beltran (Madrid, Spain) got the scoring party started in the 14
th minute, beating Tashjian for his eighth goal of the season. He was assisted by sophomore forwards
Justin Horvath (Stratford, Conn.) and
Matt Bagley (Trumbull, Conn.).
• In the 26
th minute, Beltran got on the scoresheet again, this time helping senior midfielder and team captain
Tyler Andrade (South Glastonbury, Conn.) find the back of the net for his first marker this year.
• RIC was shut down on offense all night and only mustered one shot on goal on six attempts during the contest. Sophomore midfielder
Larry Garcia (Central Falls, R.I.) registered the only shot on net for the Anchormen.
• The game was very physical with a total of 32 fouls called on the afternoon. Roger Williams was responsible for 20, while RIC picked up the other 12.
BY THE NUMBERS

• Tashjian stopped 11 in the loss (7-3).
• Roger Williams out shot RIC (23-6) and also held the shot on goal advantage (13-1) as well.

• This loss snapped the Anchormen's six-game win streak, the first setback for the team since a 3-0 defeat to Bridgewater State on Sept. 8.
