Keene, N.H.—Senior defender
Madeline McNally (Warren, R.I.) was honored on Senior Day as Rhode Island College closed out the 2021 season with a 3-1 setback at Keene State in Little East women's soccer action played at the Owl Complex on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Owls and Anchorwomen traded blows right off the bat, as each team scored in the first five minutes of play.
• The Owls struck first in the second minute when senior defenseman
Alex Kennedy (Byfield, Mass.) notched her fourth marker of the season in the second. Sophomore midfielder
Alexa Skinner (Goffstown, N.H.) was credited with the assist.
• The Anchorwomen scored what proved to be their lone goal in the fifth minute when freshman midfielder
MacKenzie Parker-Christou (Wilton, N.H.) helped fellow freshman
Serena Forte (Hope, R.I.) convert her team-high seventh goal.
• The teams were deadlocked at 1-1 going into halftime with the hosts leading in shots (9-4) and RIC leading in corner kicks (4-3).
• Keene State broke the tie in the 51
st minute when freshman forward
Raelyn Callahan (Pepperell, Mass.) scored what proved to be the game-winner with an unassisted strike. It was her fourth goal on the season.
• The Owls added an insurance goal in the 66
th minute when junior midfielder
Kayleigh Marshall (Bow, N.H.) scored her sixth goal of the year.
