Sa-Leem Kamarah (Providence, R.I.) scored twice, while junior forward
Luis Blanco (Pawtucket, R.I.) tallied for fourth straight game, as the Rhode Island College men's soccer team defeated Plymouth State, 3-0, in Little East action played at Alumni Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC got on the board first thanks to a blast from Kamarah in the 31
st minute that beat PSU sophomore goalkeeper
Nicolas Cornejo (Durham, N.H.). It was his first of the season and was set up by Blanco and senior forward
Jonathan Oliveira (Providence, R.I.).
• Kamarah struck gold again just six minutes later in the 37
th minute for his second of the season. Freshman midfielder
Juan Barrios (Pawtucket, R.I.) was credited with the helper, his second in as many games. It weas the second career multi-goal game for Kamarah.
• RIC went into the half with a 10-4 shot advantage over Plymouth State. The Anchormen also led in corners, 5-1, through the first 45 minutes of action.
• Blanco tallied his fifth of the season in the 71
st minute. Kamarah, who had several blue chip chances to complete the hat trick in the second half, was denied point blank by Cornejo on the initial shot. Blanco pounced on the rebound and fired it into the back of the net from six yards out.

Charlie Tashjian (West Warwick, R.I.) made three saves to help lead the club to their fifth shutout in the club's last six games and notch his seventh win (7-2).
• Carnejo finished the afternoon with 11 saves in a losing effort (0-7).
• The Anchormen led in both shots (25-7) and corner kicks (11-4).
