• Senior shortstop Kelsey Burgess (North Providence, RI) notched an RBI by drawing an RBI walk in the top of the second to plate junior right fielder Erica Fluskey (Trumbull, CT) to score what proved to be the game-winning run.
• Wainwright smacked a two-run bomb in the fifth to put the Anchorwomen on top by three.

• Junior pitcher Riley Kernan (Middletown, NJ) hurled five innings, allowing just four hits and striking out six, to pick up her third win (3-1) before leaving the game due to injury. Freshman pitcher Madison Reis (Warren, RI) hurled two scoreless innings of relief to earn her first save (1).
• Fitchburg State junior pitcher Taylor Colvin (Lancaster, MA) took the loss (0-1), allowing one run on five hits to go along with four strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work.
