HOW IT HAPPENED
• A kill by Pires in the first set made the score, 17-11, in favor of RIC, as the Anchorwomen would go on to win the set by seven, 25-18.

• The Terriers would answer back in the second frame as three more errors by RIC would cost them the set.

• The Anchorwomen did not play around in the third stanza as back-to-back kills from junior middle hitter
Andrayah Williams (North Providence, R.I.) and freshman right side hitter
Jocelyn Sigouin-Adorno (Fall River, Mass.) would give RIC the momentum to win decisively, 25-14.

• Another kill from Pires late in the fourth set made it, 23-13, until the Terriers went on a run but RIC closed out the match, 25-21, and salvage a split on the day.

• Sigouin-Adorno notched a career-high 11 kills and Williams pitched in 13.
