Tucker Shepard begins his second season as the assistant men's soccer coach at Rhode Island College.

In addition to his coaching duties at RIC, he is a physical education teacher with the Fall River Public Schools system, a coach and trainer with Resendes Soccer Academy and a coach with the Scorpions Soccer Club.
 
Shepard was previously a head coach with Valeo Futbol Club from 2018-20, guiding the 2002 and 2010 programs.
 
He was an assistant boys’ soccer coach with Tiverton High School from 2016-19. He was also the Head Coach for the FC Boston Bolts from 2016-18.
 
He was a standout defender at RIC from 2006-09. He closed out his career with the Anchormen having played in 56 games, starting 50 of them. Shepard totaled six assists for six points in four seasons at RIC.
 
As a senior in 2012, he played in 18 games, starting all of them. One of the team’s two captains, Shepard was one of just three Anchormen to start every game of the 2012 season. He finished the year with one assist for one point.
 
As a junior in 2011, he played in 16 games, starting 15 of them. Shepard finished the season with a pair of assists for two points, including a critical assist in RIC’s, 4-3, come-from-behind victory over Johnson & Wales on Oct. 26.  
 
As a sophomore in 2010, he played in 17 games, starting 15 of them. Shepard recorded three assists for three points on the season. He was named the Little East Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in RIC’s, 3-0, shutout victory over conference foe Plymouth State on Oct. 9.
 
As a freshman in 2009, he played in five games, starting two of them.
 
He earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Rhode Island College in 2018. Shepard was a two-time All-Division selection during his career at Tiverton High School.
