Thompson, Conn.—Seniors Mike Decesare (Cranston, R.I.) and Max Nasser (Middletown, R.I.) each tied for third overall as Rhode Island College finished second at the Nichols College Bison Fall Invitational, played at Raceway Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• Rhode Island College finished second with a team score of 321 (+33). Nichols finished first with a score of 313 (+25).
 
• The course was a par-72 and measured 6,591 yards.
 
• Six teams and 29 golfers competed at the invitational.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Decesare and Nasser each carded a 79 (+7).
 
• Sophomore Ryan Gervais (North Providence, R.I.) tied for seventh with a score of 80 (+8).
 
• Senior Kyle Cullen (Glocester, R.I.) tied for 17^th with an 83 (+11).
 
• Sophomore Ben Spirito (Cranston, R.I.) tied for 20^th with an 84 (+12).

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host its Fall Invitational at Valley Country Club on Thursday, Oct. 1.
