HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC caught the early lead as the hosts built up a 10-7 lead in the first set before embarking on a 12-7 run, which put them in control for the rest of the frame to win, 25-19.

• Senior pin hitter/defensive specialist
Brookelyn Feola (Riverside, R.I.) knocked down a pair of crucial service aces, which would eventually lead to the Anchorwomen going up, 2-0, on sets with a 25-17 second-stanza win.

• RIC could not break away from the visitors in the last frame. However, the Anchorwomen capitalized off three errors in the last four points to seal the team's third consecutive sweep.

Sarina Marines (Cranston, R.I.) led the team defensively with 10 digs and pitched in offensively with eight kills.

Yuleisy Alvelo (San Juan, Puerto Rico) notched a match-high 18 assists for the Anchorwomen.
