Providence, R.I.--Sophomore classmates Julian Orellana (Providence, R.I.) and Kody Poplaski (Bradford, R.I.) each scored as Rhode Island College tied with Johnson and Wales, 2-2, at Scotts Miracle Grow Athletic Complex on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Despite the Wildcats taking the first shot of the game in the eighth minute, the Anchormen broke through in the 22nd minute as freshman midfielder Donovan Calle (Cumberland, R.I.) found Orellana for a goal to put the visitors on top, 1-0.

• RIC outshot the hosts 7-1 in the first half and maintained the one-goal advantage at halftime.
 
• 11 minutes into the second half, Johnson and Wales would bury the equalizer.
 
• A spectacular assist by sophomore midfielder Moise Augustin (Providence, R.I.) to Poplaski in the 77th minute gave the visitors the lead momentarily.

• The Wildcats would then again respond, this time in the 86th minute, as the game finished in a 2-2 deadlock.

• Freshman goalkeeper Jake Raymond (Chepachet, R.I.) made a pair of saves in the tie (0-1-1).

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will resume Little East play at home vs. UMass Boston on Saturday, Sept. 19 (1 p.m.).
