Providence, R.I.--Head Coach Bill Volpe's team finished the 2025-26 season with a 1-0 record.
The Anchormen finished fourth (six teams) with a team score of 705 (351, 354) at the Little East Championship on Oct. 9-10.
Rhode Island College took home titles at the Saints Invitational on Sept. 10 and the RIC Fall Invitational A on Sept. 16 (season-best score of 298).
Senior Jasper Bruins Slot (Scituate, R.I.) averaged a score of 74.4 in 10 competitions on the season. He earned First Team All-Little East honors with a two-day score of 162 (78, 84) at the Little East Championship on Oct. 9-10. He earned medalist honors in five of the meets he competed, taking home at least a share of the overall title at the Saints Invitational on Sept. 10, the RIC Fall Invitational A on Sept. 16, the RIC Fall Invitational B on Oct. 1, the Hartford Wampanoag Invitational on April 27 and in a 319-332 win vs. Worcester State on April 29. Bruins Slot tied for 13th with a 150 (76, 74) at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship on Oct. 18-19.
As a junior in 2024-25, Bruins Slot earned Second Team All-Little East honors. He averaged a score 74.5 in nine matches on the season. Bruins Slot shot a season-best 69 and was the medalist at the Emmanuel Spring Classic on April 16. He was also the medalist at Emmanuel Invitational on Sept. 18, the co-medalist vs. Worcester State on Sept. 19 and the medalist vs. Emmanuel on Sept. 26.
As a sophomore in 2023-24, Bruins Slot earned First Team All-Little East honors. He averaged a score of 76.4 in six competitions on the season. Bruins Slot carded a season-low score of 70 on the first day of the Little East Championship on Oct. 5.
As a freshman in 2022-23, Bruins Slot averaged a score of 79.7 over nine competitions on the season. He carded a season-best score of 75 on the first day of the Rose City Invitational on Sept. 25. Bruins Slot shot a 76 to share medalist honors at the Emmanuel Invitational on Sept. 20.
He is a management major and a 2022 graduate of Scituate High School.
Senior Kyle Cullen (Glocester, R.I.) averaged a score of 81.0 in nine competitions on the season. He shot a season-low score of 75 during the first round of the RIC Spring Invitational on April 17.
Junior Charlie Bergin (Burrillville, R.I.) averaged a score of 83.0 in one competition on the season. He shot a season-low score of 83 at the RIC Fall Invitational B on Oct. 1.
Junior Mike Decesare (Cranston, R.I.) averaged a score of 82.4 in eight competitions on the season. He shot a season-low score of 74 at the RIC Fall Invitational A on Sept. 16. Decesare carded a 75 during the second round of the RIC Spring Invitational on April 18.
Junior Joseph Laroche (Bristol, R.I.) was a reserve on the team.
Junior Max Nasser (Middletown, R.I.) averaged a score of 90.2 in four competitions on the season. He shot a season-low score of 82 at the RIC Fall Invitational A on Sept. 16.
Sophomore Alex Ceseretti (Cranston, R.I.) averaged a score of 91.0 in one competition on the season. He shot a season-low score of 91.0 at the RIC Fall Invitational B on Oct. 1.
Sophomore Ryan Farrell (Warren, R.I.) averaged a score of 87.3 in three competitions on the season. He shot a season-low score of 86 in the, 319-332, win vs. Worcester State on April 29.
Freshman Brody Corcoran (Warwick, R.I.) averaged a score of 79.5 in two competitions on the season. He shot a season-low score of 79 at the RIC Fall Invitational B on Oct. 1.
Freshman Nicholas Flori (Johnston, R.I.) averaged a score of 82.5 in three competitions on the season. He shot a season-low score of 80 during the first round of the RIC Spring Invitational on April 17.
Freshman Ryan Gervais (North Providence, R.I.) averaged a score of 86.0 in four competitions on the season. He shot a season-low score of 79 at the RIC Fall Invitational A on Sept. 16 and the RIC Fall Invitational B on Sept. 17.
Freshman Brady Pongkongveo (North Providence, R.I.) averaged a score of 83.8 in eight competitions on the season. He shot a season-low score of 77 at the RIC Fall Invitational B on Oct. 1.
Freshman Ben Spirito (Cranston, R.I.) averaged a score of 86.0 in two competitions on the season. He shot a season-low score of 84 at the RIC Fall Invitational A on Sept. 16.
Freshman Zach Taraian (Seekonk, Mass.) averaged a score of 77.0 in one competition on the season. He shot a season-low 77 at the RIC Fall Invitational A on Sept. 16.
