Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College athletics has named Logan Young as its operations assistant. Young will be responsible for providing overall general support to intercollegiate athletics, campus recreation and club sport programming with specific emphasis on equipment standards and equipment room operations.
 
"I am thrilled to join the athletics and recreation team at Rhode Island College," Young said. "What attracted me to RIC was its strong sense of community and the opportunity to support students through athletics, recreation and campus engagement. I look forward to contributing to a positive environment for both the student-athletes and staff across the campus."
 
Young was previously a team attendant with the Phoenix Suns where he assisted equipment staff with organizing and maintaining team gear, locker room operations and supported players during pregame workouts.
 
He served as an assistant athletic equipment manager at North Canyon High School (Ariz.) from 2023 through June of 2026 where he assisted in ordering and stocking inventory, organizing equipment and providing event support.
 
Young also has experience as a game-day staff worker with the San Francisco Giants and completed an internship with the Arizona Cardinals.
 
He is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA).
 
Young graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in sports business from Arizona State in 2025.
