Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College will face Stevens Institute of Technology in first round action of the 2026 NCAA Div. III Women's Tennis Championship, hosted by Middlebury on Friday, May 8.
The Ducks and the Anchorwomen are joined in the pod by No. 8 Babson, host No. 12 Middlebury, Tufts and Hartwick. The Stevens vs. Rhode Island College winner will face Babson on Saturday, May 9. The Tufts vs. Hartwick winner will face Middlebury. The winning teams from those contests will compete in the Regional Final on Sunday, May 10.
The Anchorwomen are currently 16-0 overall and won both the Little East Regular Season and Tournament Championships.
Stevens is currently 16-2 overall and earned the automatic berth to the tournament after winning its fifth straight Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom championship last Saturday.
The Little East Tournament Championship for the Anchorwomen marks the 12
th title in program history and the sixth for the club in the last nine years. By posting a perfect 8-0 record in conference play this fall, Rhode Island College claimed its 14
th Little East Regular Season Championship and its eighth in the past 11 years.
RIC will be making the program's sixth appearance in the NCAA Div. III Championship.
