Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College Athletic Hall of Famer Dayna (Reilly) Kitterick '18 has been inducted to the Little East Conference Athletic Hall of Fame for her performance in women's tennis during her career as an Anchorwoman from 2015-17.
Kitterick, who was inducted into RIC's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2023, was a two-time Little East Player of the Year who received the Helen M. "It's special to be recognized for high performance in a sport I've spent my whole life playing," Kitterick said. "Tennis has introduced me to some of the best people, taught me lessons that have shaped who I am, and given me memories I'll always look back on fondly. I'm especially grateful for my mom and grandma, who spent countless hours supporting me at practices and matches and were such a big part of this journey."
"When you put years of hard work into something you love, you don't always know where it will take you or if that work will ever be recognized. But when it is, it's worth celebrating. Looking back, I realize how much tennis has given me beyond anything measured on a scoreboard. Being inducted into the Little East Conference Hall of Fame is a meaningful way to celebrate that journey, and an honor I'm incredibly grateful for."
