Jillian Guilfoyle (Derby, Conn.) went 4-for-4 with two doubles and six RBI as Rhode Island College demolished Regis, 15-2, at the Legend Complex on Monday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• A two-run single in the bottom of the first from Guilfoyle and an RBI single by sophomore shortstop
Joey Meyer (South Milwaukee, Wis.) in the second put RIC ahead, 6-2.

Noelle Simmons (Goffstown, N.H.) doubled to center field in the third, which brought in two, and then classmate center fielder
Sophia Crudale (Cranston, R.I.) notched an RBI single to give RIC a, 9-2, lead.

• The Anchorwomen would just overwhelm Regis in the fourth stanza as Simmons led more scoring with an RBI double.Â

Melanie Earley (Lumberton, N.J.) who combined for three runs in the bottom half of the fourth to end the game due to the 10-run rule.
