Gabrielle Sweeney (Shirley, Mass.) went 3-for-3 with a run scored as Rhode Island College stayed unbeaten in the Sunshine State with a 4-3 win over North Central at Hancock Park on Sunday afternoon.

• Senior center fielder
Sophia Crudale (Cranston, R.I.) put the Anchorwomen on top in the first inning with an RBI bunt single.
• RIC plated two runs in the second, paced by an RBI double by junior catcher
Brianna Bailey (Windsor, Conn.) and a run-scoring single from classmate right fielder
Sydney Duclos (North Providence, R.I.).
• Bailey brought in what proved to be the game-winning run on an RBI ground out in the fourth.
• North Central tagged the Anchorwomen for three runs in the third before freshman pitcher
Mia Crudale (Cranston, R.I.) came in to hurl four innings of scoreless relief.
• Crudale did not allow a hit and struck out two to earn her second win (2-0) in as many days.
