Noelle Simmons (Goffstown, N.H.) went 1-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored as Rhode Island College defeated Salve Regina, 10-7, in the opening game of a twinbill played at Toppa Field on Thursday afternoon.

• Despite conceding a first run in the bottom of the first, the Anchorwomen posted six runs in the second as an RBI triple by freshman designated player
