Wellesley, Mass.--Sophomore Meghan McCann (Pawtucket, R.I.) finished 12th in the 200-yard freestyle (2:52.09) as Rhode Island College wrapped up competition at the 2026 Little East Women's Swimming and Diving Championship, held at the Boston Sports Institute on Sunday.
 
THE BASICS
• Rhode Island College wrapped up the third and final day of competition in 11^th place (11 teams) with a team score of 94.5. Eastern Connecticut took home the LEC title with a team score of 839.5.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Senior Morgan McCann (Pawtucket, R.I.) finished 13th in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:52.43).
 
• Freshman Victoria Badger (Cranston, R.I.) finished 15th in the 50-yard backstroke (34.76).
 
• Sophomore Taryn Reed (Pascoag, R.I.) finished 17th in the 1,650-yard freestyle (22:53.50).
 
• Freshman Katelyn Rogers (Woonsocket, R.I.) finished 17th in the 200-yard butterfly (3:04.50).
 
• Freshman Lydia Paul (Lincoln, R.I.) finished 18th in the 100-yard IM (1:32.88).
 
• Junior Joanmarie Joly (Pawtucket, R.I.) finished 19th in the 200-yard butterfly (3:24.52).
