HOW IT HAPPENED
• Wager and freshman forward
Eva Monahan (Woodstock, Conn) combined for 10 points in the first quarter to give the Anchorwomen a 12-point lead, 20-8, heading into the second quarter.

• Monahan then quickly put in a pair of baskets to start the second frame, which led to another successful 10 minutes of basketball as RIC led by 11, 31-20, at the half.

• The Anchorwomen were all gas with no brakes in the third stanza as the hosts grew their lead to 25, 53-28, with 10 minutes to play.

• RIC closed out the fourth quarter with no remorse to win by 45 and extend their win streak to three consecutive games.
• Monahan also recorded a double-double of 18 points and 11 boards, while sophomore guard
Shalyn Smith (Woodstock, Conn.) pitched in with 10 points offensively.
