• The Panthers cruised through the first set, as they tallied 15 total kills to the Anchorwomen's eight, in a 25-14 victory.

• Despite having more attack errors and less kills in the second frame, RIC knotted it up at one set apiece thanks to a pair of service aces from sophomore libero
Caroline Morrell (Gorham, Maine), which closed out Plymouth State, 25-21.

• RIC would take an 11-6 early lead in the third period off another Morrell service ace, only until the Panthers clawed back and dominated the visitors, 25-18, with one potential set remaining.
