• The Anchorwomen were feeling the momentum early as back-to-back kills by junior outside hitter
Marina Colonis (Waterford, Conn.) gave the visitors the edge to take the first set, 25-13.

• The Bucs took control of the second frame and led, 22-19, but it was the Anchorwomen stormed back, rattling off six consecutive points to go up by a pair of sets.

• RIC's six service aces (three by Marines) helped the team dominate the final set as the hosts were outgunned on the day, 40-20, in kills.
