Boston, Mass.--Junior outside hitter Sarina Marines (Cranston, R.I.) posted a double-double with 16 kills and 11 digs as Rhode Island College saw its three-match win streak come to an end in a 3-2 setback vs. Suffolk in the first contest of a tri-match on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The hosts edged the Anchorwomen, 25-23, in the opening set, before RIC evened the contest with a 25-18 decision in the second stanza.
 
 • Suffolk pulled ahead with a 25-16 win, before the Anchorwomen tied it up again with a 25-17 victory in the fourth set.
 
• The Anchorwomen led, 5-2 and 8-6, in the third set before the Rams went on a 9-3 run to secure the win.
 
• Marines hit .216 in the match, while senior middle hitter Sydnee Pires (Rochester, Mass.) contributed nine kills and six total blocks.
 
• Junior outside hitter Marina Colonis (Waterford, Conn.) led the team with 18 digs. Junior setter Paula Pesoa (Johnston, R.I.) handed out 26 assists.
