Sarina Marines (Cranston, R.I.) registered her second consecutive double-double with 12 kills and 12 digs as Rhode Island College fell to Worcester State, 3-0, in the second leg of a tri-match hosted by Suffolk at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• A winner from junior outside hitter
Talia Lewis (Sacramento, Calif.) pulled the Anchorwomen within one, 18-17, but would get just two points the rest of the set as the Lancers took the first period, 25-19.

• RIC started with a quick three points in the second frame, but that would be its biggest lead of the set as Worcester State capitalized off seven errors by the Anchorwomen and narrowly escaped the set with a two-point victory, 25-23.

Marina Colonis (Waterford, Conn.) led the way defensively for RIC with 15 digs.
